Don’t sigh a sigh for me
Don’t ever cry for me
This is goodbye for me
I know we’re through
I’m Losing you
Love sang it’s song for me
Then things went wrong for me
Nights are too long for me
Because I’m losing you
Our love and our devotion
Were deep as any ocean
Then one day like the tide you began to change
And you became a perfect stranger
Someone is holding you
Sharing the lips I knew
I can’t believe it’s true
That I am losing you
I can’t believe it’s true
That I am losing you
Another female artist that her music touch everyones heart.. Espcially like us the seniors.. The old songs are the best compare to the music of new generation.. You can’t relate.. They are all screaming..
Brenda's face on this album cover is so alike that of my beloved Helen, taken from me so very many years ago. I have just one faded photograph of her but now I can see her again on U Tube while Brenda's unique and wonderful voice takes me back to those happier times when the world seemed a much better place. Where did it all go wrong?
How can anyone listen to today's pop music, when it has so little emotion, no soul, no meaning, and no sustained worth over time? This artist poured her heart out and the listener can feel it and relate to it on a level that most young people can barely imagine. Kind of sad, really, that we have lost our ability to have real romantic attachments in life. I am not a "get off my lawn" type of guy, either. I love deeply, and have nothing but respect for artists who sing and perform today. I just think there is something missing in the emotional vibe of much of today's music. It is possible that I am just old, and don't understand.
