always doing something new
The way she wears her hair, and i like it
The way she wears her hair, it s not mean to be facetious
and when you come to meet her
the way she wears her hair
She s bittersweet and, she s strange, and i don t compare to many
She s strange, she s strange
And i don t compare to many, that surrounds the girl wherever in the world
And i like it, knock me off my feet
Knock me off my feet, and that look in her eye says your the guy she plans to spend this evening with Strange, she s strange
I like the way she walks, and i don t compare to many
it s not mean to be facetious
She s my twilight zone, she s strange
She s strange, you ll never greet her She's, she ll be waving her
And i like it, she s strange, walking down the avenue
Yes i like it, she s bittersweet and, she s my twilight zone
yes i like it
she elusive you see
She turns me on with a special concern, she elusive you see, always doing something new
she s strange
And when you come to meet her, she s strange
She s the kind of person everybody knows, now i m a different guy
she s the kind of person everybody knows
Like the invisible man in drag, walking down the avenue
Cameo® remains the epitome of the original funk bands. Long after the primal heyday of the 70's, when other bands like The Bar-Kays, Lakeside and Confunkshun we're putting up their band equipment, Larry Blackmon and company kept funk train rolling along on the tracks with hits like "Word Up", "Back and Forth", "Candy" and "Skin I'm In". Cameo® will forever be the band that anyone with a grain of salt will bring up in conversation as one of the greatest R&B bands of all time and "She's Strange" defines their position in history!
Enough said.
Is Anybody in the House in 2019 listening to this Amazing song released wayback in 1984 by one and only legendary Singer Cameo. I remember this song as a 10yrs old boy in my neighborhood town in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria being showed on Lagos Weekend Television LTV8 amongst many other American hit songs of the early and mid 80s. It's so, so painful that Americas don't sing no more like they do in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.
Dude puttin in work on that bass guitar!!!! On a lot of old school songs they would stop singing towards the end of the song and just let the band keep jamming until the song faded away!!!!
