This reminds me of summer evenings in 1983. I worked as a medical volunteer for the Palestinian people and lived on the edge of the Palestinian refugee camp of Beddawi on the outskirts of Tripoli, North Lebanon. There was a peaceful interlude before war visited Beddawi later in 1983. I think with nostalgia of those tranquil summer evenings, sitting on the balcony of our house after a hard day's work, gazing at the stars, sipping Pina Colada and listening to One With You. Those were the days.
