Fun lockdown fact: this song was written way before Cave In were even a band and was originally meant for their first band called Bliss. (Cave In formed in 1995 and this song was released in 2003)

Even if this is Cave In's most "mainstream" sounding record, it's STILL like a hundred times better than anything else "mainstream" out there... Cave In's "worst" album is STILL better than some band's best album... only Cave In could make a major label record that doesn't sound major label. I could never fault them for trying new things, and with White Silence out now... have you EVER seen a band successfully come full circle in their sound? It's fucking rare... long live Cave In!
