OK, here I am again, but I'm not Pam Sharp...find me better under Pam Shaw (Dave Shaw DJ)...Your music tran-sends generations, continents; and time. I think I need some closure.
My Daughter was born in 1974 when this song came out.
I had the pleasure of Singing it at her wedding to her.
It has and always will remain our song.
Cecilio sang it to her at Harry's Bar at Hyatt in Hawaii.
This song brings so many good feelings back... I went to their first big concert at the Waikiki Shell... it was awesome!!! Listening to this song makes me happy and sad... the years have gone by so fast... I wish I was back there again... Aloha...
I was under the same label as C&K. Played and lived in Oahu from 74 to 76. Was friends with Bobby Beaumont of Olemana (sp?). Once you leave HI you realize you can never leave. Such a magical place in so many ways. Ke Akua Ho'omaika Oe!
ALL your songs are so beautiful. You are embedded in my memories. I'm sure you know my dad from 1978. Thanks for the music. And the harmony is fantastic!
This song was dedicated to me by my first significant boyfriend. he is still in my heart today as my first love over 35 years later. James Fredrick Taylor, I still love you. Laura Wallace. I think of you often and have tried to find you so many times. Where ever you are, I hope you can somehow still feel my presence in your heart.
