Been watching and listening since the mid 70's, tripped out , road tripped , drank and smoked my way through so many Chain concerts and albums i cant' remember. Oz Blues unreal.
always have just loved chain since I was a young fella, matt taylor paid me the highest compliment ever when he heard me play harp for him, never understood how they get left out when people talk about the top aussie bands for me they are the greastest of all time
Even after all these years...doesn't get any better! Chain are Blues Royalty in this country.Did so much for bringing the genre to the masses that any other artist along with the great late Dutch Tilders .Pure Aussie Gold ..Keep the faith !! ;-)
watched these blokes Live 40 plus years ago in Newcastle. Have a couple of old LPs. This was the best live band is oz back then. This boogie is a classic. It makes a old man want to feel an 18 year old again. I wore out Black & Blue at my 18th birthday party.
Saw Chain and many others, Healing Force, Carson, Aztecs, Madder Lake etc at St. Peter's East Bentleigh in the early 70s great nights great bands. Julian
great music , i am in my 60s thank god i saw all the bands went to impulse, serbastians, opus uptown , never missed anything as some girls at the time were not allowed they will never see what i saw great memories .
