If you have a great sound system, you must blast this and dance your ass off! If not, put on your headphones and raise the volume, dance music doesn't get better than this....
If you never went to a dance club in the 70s, you will never know the power of that eras music. People lost their minds to this track. On the dance floor there was no rent, work or drama of any kind. It was just JOY!
I'm 22 and love this song my grandmother played this all the time and my parents did too..My grandma taught me how to dance to song around like 5 years old
Laurence Adams, I have to agree with you. The REAL music was from the 70's and 80's. The soul, funk, jazzfunk and disco era exploded into life and music was never the same. Luther, Teena Marie, Rick James and the list goes on. Don't really care what people say today about the music of this generation, it will NEVER have the feeling of our era. :)
I wish Luther Vandross was still here with us. He was a talented, elaborate artist like most of the artists in the 20th century and you can't find that today. Today it's just teenage garbage with soulless, lazy and false performing and musical style. It's just lazy and false.
PS: 8th Feb is my birthday. That's when this video was posted.
THIS WAS THEE SONG that let me know this guy was going to be special. His vocal range, and his range of emotion just grabs you. You don't LISTEN to Luther. You FEEL Luther. RIP Luther, greatest R&B vocalist since David Ruffin.
