Underrated horn break at 2.00 makes this one of more listenable tunes. Great vocals, too.

kind of makes you wonder if they should have just let Bill do the all the leads after cetera left.

The "One More Day" from THIS "American Ultra" soundtrack post is a different "One More Day" , sung by Bill Champlin who was in Chicago. I have a song on the sound track myself (Bill Burgess) and also play the guitar solo on the Champlin "One More Day". Go to the "OFFICIAL" "American Ultra" Soundtrack to hear the Bill Champlin "One More Day" written by David Kessner.

Brilliant song, awesome harmony, arrangement, vocals. Tte horns are incredible (2,04 - 2.42), but 2.24 - 2.42 is symply an orgasmus!

I listened to this song so many times and thought i was the only one who thought this was one of their best songs! The instruments, their voices etc so beautifully orchestrated.

The Lord Jesus spoke to me through this song when I was driving away from Anchorage, Alaska. I turned around and went back to Anchorage, and I preached the gospel on a busy street corner for one more day. The Lord Jesus is amazing!

I think was without a doubt the best song on 18. Once again Bill's voice is just simply amazing, as it is on all songs

I was a big fan of The Son's of Champlin from way back. Then I heard that Bill had joined Chicago. Bill's amazing vocals are all over this album....especially in this tune. Yea....the entire band is great here, but Bill's vocals just ad a wonderful sparkle.

This album came out when I was in college. I was a DJ and made sure I played this song. It took off, on campus. It's always been one of my favorites. Thanks for posting!!!

Thumbs up to that. I'm very partial to the bass part at the end of it - 2:42-2:48. Masterful arranging. It's what I find to be lacking in the majority of music since that era.

Some of the most underrated music from Chicago, came after Peter Cetera left. Chicago 18,19,21  were just as good, if not better, in some ways than Chicago 17.
