He never did. Never hung up the rock & roll shoes. They were hung up without him in them. He went down swinging. One of the all-time greats. What a sad loss his passing was.

Man, I remember listening to this on an old Olympic Hi-Fi Combination Record Player and a Black & White T.V. in the cabinet. My grandfather (R.I.P.) and I used to listen to the radio on the set to the Washington Senators Baseball games broadcast by Dan Daniels. (Geezing).
