I remember hearing this song back when I used to spend weekends at my granny's house. She put on her 45's - and her albums. Great times. We lost her back in 2012 - funny how we think grand parents will always out live us. Then when we lose them - we wished we'd spent more time with them.

I love this song. It is very soulful.It is also classic Clarence Carter. I sometimes wonder if this song could cross over into a rock-country genre if it were covered by the right artist.I had a particular country singer in mind.
