One day when this was a new song, I was riding in the backseat of the car with my friends and my grandfather was in the front seat. I was rapping all the lyrics to this song and when I was done, my grandfather turned around and said, oh that was you, I thought it was the radio. LOL This is one of the earliest rap records that I knew other than the Fatback Band which for me was pre-rap.
Count Cookout,Rhythm Rap Rock, was the the true definition of hip hop, like a nice looking car with Dayton's & sounds ,cruising down the block. With treble & bass that you can feel deep inside, that puts a smile on your face, starting from the top to the bottom of your feet, once you feel it,as he rolls & dip,you begin to move your butts & your hips,& say to all who are around how much you like it ,out of your mouth, with your tongue & your lips.
