This song is my relationship right now As much as it hurts its my current reality. I never was into music like this but one day I played some of her music while driving alone on spotify and the recluse came on. That was when things felt like they couldnt get any better. Throughout the relationship I would slowly start getting more and more into this band. The relationship has deteriorated to the point where it's pretty much time to end it. Funny how the start of everything it felt like bliss id find myself falling asleep listening to the recluse Now I'm bitter and resentful but mostly tired listening to this song almost daily on repeat But over everything im still greatful, for memories where I've never felt so at peace. For the love when it was there. All the awesome music I missed out on being that I'm younger than her and just had a different lifestyle. Greatful for this fucking band. Like finding a hidden gem. Who knows what I would have done had this song not articulated what I was feeling. Greatful that I get to see them when they come to my town next year. I'm gonna be yelling the fuck out of this song in hopes they play it. Peace and love to everyone who reads this. Keep fighting defeat isnt permanent.
