The fact that Chuck wrote such an intense instrumental that tries to capture "the voice of the soul" just three years before his death makes this song even more beautiful
The electric and acoustic guitar represent different things. The acoustic guitar represents wanting to die, and the electric guitar represents the will to fight for your life. Throughout this song the electric and acoustic guitar are playing over each other, until finally the will to live is gone, and the acoustic guitar ends the song. No matter how much you wish to die, the will to live that is inside of you always fights on, as hard as it may be to carry on living.
