Thanks for this great video. Eileen Barton did have a wonderful voice. I don't remember her singing this song on record, the song is from Fanny and Florence Henderson starred in it. I believe Eileen sang If I Knew You Were Coming, I'd Have Baked A Cake. Thanks again for this great video.
This is somewhat similar to Louis D. Snader's "Teletranscriptions", produced on film in 1951; short musical performances distributed in a "package" to local TV stations for use as "filler", or as "segments" for their local programs [Bob Horn of WFIL-TV in Philadelphia used the Snader films, and live studio segments of teenagers dancing, to launch "BANDSTAND" in 1952...which was taken over by Dick Clark in 1956, and became "AMERICAN BANDSTAND" on ABC in 1957].
