0:48 I imagine leviathan!castiel walking into the water reserve in supernatural and this song fits it so well because he's covered in blood both human and leviathan and it's terrifying but awesome
Sa ri ga ma pa tha ni sa are the seven notes used in Carnatic music, a form of classical music in South India. The song uses the notes in reverse order at the beginning. Carnatic music has all these ragas, which are the seven notes in various perms combs.
I don't know much about Carnatic music, a friend of mine practices it and says it is quite the trip. It sometimes gives headaches and sounds similar. Below are three songs inspired by Carnatic music, not Carnatic songs themselves, composed by AR Rahman, who is a loved composer from India who did Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours etc.
1. Narumugaye - Iruvar
2. Omana Penne - Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya
3. Sowkiyama - Sangamam
I'm not sure if Tere Bina from Guru is Classicalish or Hindustaniyish but anyway.
Have fun.
