I could not wait to turn 21 he would come to a bar I lived close to I tried when I was 19 didn't make thru the door but my time came what a show best I've ever seen.
Too bad you can't turn on the Country radio station and hear golden oldies like this. Instead of some idiot singing about his pickup and girl with a rap beat and a goofy banjo overdub to try and fool us into not wondering what they did with real Country Music.
Man, does this man's music hold up over the years! Way back when, I didn't always think he was singing the tunes 'right'. Years later, I feel the passion in this terrific singer. (For the first time, I also think I hear a little bit of Jerry Lee Lewis in his voice, though he's definitely his own man.) This voice, truly missed.
