I don't like the video. It has a lot of objectification. This is a very fine music and requires a video that shows the playfulness of the fingers on the guitar, on the clarinet, the gaze to infinity, lights and shadows without revealing, something as meditative as the music. I don't know who came up with this idea but I expected something more polished from ECM, that doesn't hijack the lament that is created by the music out of the viewer. Interview sound clips are not treated at all! It creates bad interruptions in the flow. Anyway, I rather listen to this music without visuals if this is going to be the only option.
