I m still wearing your jeans, told me you tried and put your hand on my shoulder, when you told me i d never be lonely
I didn t care that it came from a junkyard, could you hear us talking out there
you re breaking my heart
Could you hear us talking out there, still roll them up, don t touch me
Still wearing, you re breaking my heart Grace, when you told me i d never be lonely
we would play it on repeat
Sunday drives, how am i supposed to sing them now
Still wearing, i m still wearing your jeans
told me you tried and put your hand on my shoulder
And you were my jay z, could you hear us talking out there
Crazy in love, still roll them up, how am i supposed to sing them now
You called time, now i choke on the words that i wrote for you
You re breaking my heart, i m still wearing your jeans, told me you tried and put your hand on my shoulder
still roll them up
Looked in your eyes and i knew it was over, how am i supposed to sing them now Grace, the joke s on me
You were my ride or die, gotta roll them up
When you told me i d never be lonely, wasn t really bad, still got that hole in the knee
Still got that hole in the knee, i bought into the dream that you sold me

I bought into the dream that you sold me, i m still wearing your jeans Jeans), still roll them up
I love her voice: sounds like the perfect whiskey drink you have after a bad break up and fed up with the pain and just want to be numb for a little while
Looked in your eyes and I knew it was over
Told me you tried and put your hand on my shoulder
Don't touch me, I don't want your pity
Crazy In Love, we would play it on repeat
Told me I was your Bey, and you were my Jay Z
You called time, gave me no warning sign
I'm wearing, yeah, I'm still wearing your jeans
Still roll them up, still got that hole in the knee
I bought into the dream that you sold me
When you told me I'd never be lonely
The joke's on me, yeah
Straight to my house when you picked up your first car
I didn't car that it came from a junkyard
Sunday drives, you were my ride or die
Still wearing, yeah, I'm still wearing your jeans
Still roll them up, still got that hole in the knee
I bought into the dream that you sold me
When you told me I'd never be lonely
The joke's on me, yeah
Now I choke on the words that I wrote for you
How am I supposed to sing them now
Boy, you're breaking my heart

Cause I'm still...

I'm just curious why her material hasn't landed on Canadian shores yet.
They released "You Don't Own Me" to U.S. radio, but it didn't get much support from what I hear. Generally, they don't put songs without an album behind them into any form of rotation.
That's very sad, because this girl is right up there with Adele when it comes to conveying a lyric's emotion, and Amy Winehouse when it comes to her vocal instrument.
I also wish that record companies would stop this nonsense of trying to "thin out" ample figured women in music. Ann Wilson (Heart) complained that Capitol always ordered the videographers to minimize her size while promoting her sister visually, because of the killer figure and blond hair.
I'd prefer a singer that was able to make me feel something when he/she sings than one that has a bod that won't quit, and autotune to make her appear to "sing".
I REALLY want some of Grace's material here, on radio, in the CD shops, anything. She's got "it". She really does. And I think the planet needs to know it.
Seriously.
