A worker that worked for me about 1999 I would stop and pick him up every morning and I had a Hank tape he would say please not that old stuff again then out of the blue one Friday he said you think I could borrow that Hank tape over the weekend he's a life long Hank fan now and I will always be Hank's music will last forever

My grandmother was sick and my mother played this song on 45 over and over while she couldn't get out of bed. Needless to say when grandma got better the 45 was just a target for the shotgun. But it is a great song.

I listened to Hank Williams on the radio in the early 50s before he died. He was a good singer but had lots of problems. Loved his music then, was just a teenager, & still love it today. His life was cut short due to back problems & addiction to pain meds to help him endure the pain. Cried when they announced on the radio he had died. Life was way too short for him but his music lives on thru all the media & the Internet. He was a good singer.
