Saw Marriot at a club called Saavys' on my 25th birthday,,,,sat at our table between  sets and we threw some back for my birthday,,,,,except for his bodyguard, who stood by the table all night ,,,biggest damn Englishman I've ever seen!  Last harrah before i got responsible,,,,, Marriot was funny, quick to laugh, Hell of a 25th,,,,, what a night,,,,,

Saw them live in 1973....amazing concert.  They sure made me feel less alone and sad during that time.  Love their positivity.  I was 16.  Wish the kids today had the same.
