I love this track. I was a white skate boarding metal head in the late 80's/early 90's. NWA, PE, Cypress Hill, and Ice Cube among others taught me a lot about the point of view of black urban youth at the time. To me, the rage expressed in their music came from a similar place as the rage I felt back then. Young, white, poor, no real prospects, surrounded by people trying to hold you back. I think in their own way, they did more to bring whites and blacks of that generation together than most folks give them credit for. They also allowed a lot of us to see the systematic racism of our for-fathers for what it was and the damage it caused. Some of us learned the lesson, some didn't.
