Big Maceo would have been influenced by Leroy for sure. Both were great artists.

Muddy Waters did this tune as "Mean Mistreater" in 1959 (Chess 1718)...virtually an exact copy of Leroy's tune. Muddy's version introduced me to this tune back in 1959. Only now finding out it was already an old classic!
