Wow, my piano piece. Thank you for publishing this. I really admire and love this pianist..i don't care if he is gay or whatever...all I know I love how he plays his pieces with no music sheets in all his performances. I love how he looks up while delivering his music. He really is a great loss to the music industry and to all his fans all over the world. RIP, Lee Showmanship...all my prayers.
Lliberace is an awesome pianist, awesome. A great talent, a showman before Madonna and Elton John every existed. Do not let his flamboyant behavior lose sight of this grand technique if not executed exactly how you were taught now to do it, with arms leaping in the air, etc. But he never missed a beat. Great precision.
Wow! Better than the original. Did he ever record "Jealous Lover?" (Theme from The Apartment)..same composer..this and his version of Blue Tango are amongst my favorites. Still listening to you, Lee, still missing you.
It's so nice to come across something you haven't heard for a long time and was practically forgotten. I have done that with a lot of things on here.
I'm glad you enjoyed.
Merry Christmas.
A wonderful showman and fantastic pianist, let down by those he loved dearly as so often happens. So pleased to have been around at the same time as Liberace.
Liberace's extravagantly remarkable playing is reflected through his larger than life personality. A one off the likes we will never see again. He deserves more credit for his playing than he gets as well as his showmanship with his sweeping majestic passages that only he could pull off and he played with real passion, love and emotion too.. He could play all styles including the most difficult of them all- The Great Classical Composers. Not many pianists can lay claim to being able to play so many styles.
