Absolutely my favorite band, this song( really the whole rage and tragedy and homeward bound albums)especially helped me stay sane when one of my dearest friends and road dog whom I had to bailed on so I could stay clean was found dead of a heroin overdose, wish there where more live performances with Gems on VHS, the rawness is absolutely amazing!!!!! I could listen to y'alls entire discography + Barefoot Surrender on a loop and never get tired of any of the songs!!!!!! Fucking cheers on your tour opening for DM3!! Can't wait for new songs!!!

Lost the only family I have ever known and this song reminds me of the good times we had, heaven, hell, who knows if they are real all we know is one day our mortal souls will pass and see the ones we once loved more than yourself. one of these days we will be with them again.

amazing. i lost my very best friend to heroin on 1/4/15 at the age of 25 after a 7 year struggle. i posted this on her timeline today after my cousin in texas shared it with me in ohio, as he lost a friend to heroin today. keep it up guys. crazy good talent and lyrics. this one got me good. carry on.

I lost a brother to heroin too his name was Robbert Barnett to many have gone this path ......brother I miss u and I'll carry all the memories with me all my life and I thank the Lord that I got to spend part of my life with you

I lost my love five years ago to heroin, I've been off dope for 2 years and my longing and sorrow has turned into a warm comfort for that out of all the millions of years I had the pleasure to share anytime with her at all. If anyone who reads this is going through a recent tragedy just knows in those moments of darkness that you must push forward because there will be a light and it will shine brighter each and every day and one day your pain will mold you into a truly stronger creature.
