I only knew the version of Eddy Mitchell and the Human League ... I see that is is the original version and it's fantastic.

When this tune started on Mad Men, I was like "why do I know that song?" - then when the lyrics kicked in, and I realized what song it was, it about knocked me over! I had no idea the Naked Eyes version wasn't the original. Yet another reason to love Mad Men!

Really good original song. Still think the Naked Eyes cover was great.

I was raised on the Naked Eyes version, never knowing it was a remake. This is definitely light years better!

Thank you MadMen. Never knew this song was turned into a more popular remake in the 80s.

Thumbs up for songwriters who can speak across several generations. That's talent!

Another thank you to Madmen....show brought me to this version.....very good tune.A little jazz feel vs. the 80's tune we all knew by Naked Eyes.

Just heard this, while catching up on Mad men. This song has always been with me, and I let it out at full voice sometimes at work! I was there for the Sandy Shaw version, though. Dionne Warwick's version is obviously great, since she was the ace at B/D songs, but I still love Sandy's version, no matter what peeps say about her screaming (or her stockinged soles). The Lou-wotsit version (as in Mad Men) is also excellent. Probably sounds more modern now, despite its antiquity.

I like this version... Lou Johnson has a great voice and the background singers spice it up... A very nice memory of the 60's....
