Thinking of my good friend, the late Sylvester Coaxum, who turned me on to this album back when I was in Jr. High School. We were listening to Motown and he was listening to Jazz.
this a very ,very nice renditions together ,,,listen deeply to the accompaniment of the violin ,,the electric guitar ,the drums ect, its very soothing !!!!!!! and the voices of miss nancy wilson ,,,,truly a remarkable singer.
I bought this Lp 29 years ago in a used vinyl store simply because I wondered who the pretty black lady was with the 'flip' hairdo-okay admittedly a stupid reason to buy a record, but I was only 22 and new nothing really about great music. Thankfully, Miss Wilson changed all that for me :)
I was raised by my grandparents. When my aunt went off to college, she left her LP collection behind. Nancy Wilson's A TOUCH OF TODAY was the very first one I played. One of her best, without a doubt.
