The soundtrack to a film that never was...The orchestration is pure Bacharach/Barry and has stood the test of time impeccably...Still tugs at the heart and reminds of the romance of youth...Once saw Nick Heyward with a young lady in the 90s in the Summertime afternoon of London's Soho...Arm in arm they fell out of a pub and walked up the rd...Beautiful.

My Goodness, The epic of epic songs. As he sings you can imagine an ocean becoming more and more restless, then becoming a sweeping storm. ending with waves crashing against rocks and the sound of bells of a dinghy in the background. such a beuatiful mournful song. Sorry about your wife Bill, what a song to think of her by. The song does suggest loss. I think the oceanic theme suggests the uncontrable deluge of emotions that come with loss. This song speaks to you on so many levels.
