almost 30 years later....still one of the most BEAUTIFUL songs ever put to airwaves. simply stunning! the image of the 2 older gentlemen fading away into a wave is just....emotional . in a great way....we will all fade away eventually. dust to dust.
The way he uses his voice as an instrument in this song rather than to get across an actual message adds this beautifully eerie ambiance to it. Truly astounding.

This song always reminds me. It was October 31st in Corpus Cristi Texas. I sat on the monkey bars, dressed as a Marine Corps Werewolf. Next to me, my first love, Amanda. We plotted our trick or treat course. I brought my tape player. We sat side by side, listening to Ten. I got my first kiss to Oceans, as that south Texas sun sank into Halloween night. I can relive that day anytime. It was...perfect.

Oceans and Black are some really underrated songs I've ever heard. You can tell they put so much meaning and thought into those songs, overall Ten was a great album.
