So tell me what in the world am i gonna do about you, oh your memory keeps coming back, what in the world am i gonna do about you
What am i gonna do about you, he s asked me out once or twice
Oh well i try, so tell me what in the world am i gonna do about you You, but i still can t believe that we re through
What am i gonna do about you, job s going fine and the bills are all paid McEntire, but i still can t believe that we re through
So tell me what in the world am i gonna do about you, from out of the blue What, oh your memory keeps coming back
darling what am i gonna do about you
but i m thinking i might
oh your memory keeps coming back
There s a guy down at work, and everyone thinks that i m doing ok
So tell me what in the world am i gonna do about you, and everyone thinks that i m doing ok
from out of the blue
What am i gonna do about you, standing in line i thought i saw you walk in, and that s when it started all over again
If only i could get you out of my mind, but i m thinking i might, oh your memory keeps coming back
what in the world am i gonna do about you
What am i gonna do about you, but i m thinking i might You, from out of the blue
Standing in line i thought i saw you walk in, job s going fine and the bills are all paid Gonna, what am i gonna do about you
What am i gonna do about you, what am i gonna do about you
But i still can t believe that we re through, and on my way home i thought i saw you walk by
If only i could get you out of my mind, what am i gonna do about you, and everyone thinks that i m doing ok
But i still can t believe that we re through, from out of the blue
Job s going fine and the bills are all paid, and that s when it started all over again
What am i gonna do about you, so tell me what in the world am i gonna do about you, i haven t said yes
the neighbor next door fixed the roof where it leaked
And on my way home i thought i saw you walk by, i haven t said yes, but i still can t believe that we re through
From out of the blue, so tell me what in the world am i gonna do about you
But i m thinking i might, the kid down the street mowes the grass every week
But it wasn t much fun, the kid down the street mowes the grass every week Am, what in the world am i gonna do about you
But i m thinking i might, there s a guy down at work
What in the world am i gonna do about you, and that s when it started all over again
And everyone thinks that i m doing ok, i went to the store
Reba was "IT" all of my childhood years. I didn't think much about her until i was about 10 years old. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was at a cookout with the parents and this song came on. It was the first time i had ever gotten cold chills from music. I guess that's odd for that age but i was blown away. The light bulb went off and it hit me...."my God she is great".almost 30 years later and i still get chills when i hear some of her songs. I don't know if there has ever been another female country singer with as much raw talent. Patsy Cline was great, Tammy W, and a lot more. I don't think any of them were perfect like Reba.
Went through a heart- wrenching Divorce. Drugs, Alcohol and Infidelity was never our issue as a couple, but yet is was something deeper, stronger, and too powerful.,, It was just a deep sadness of a loss greater then our love could battle. This song allows me to mourn the Man I once Loved. and remember that it wasnt always hurtful and sad....
Gosh Reba was young here, back when my husband and I listened to every thing she recorded-----then a year and a half ago, I lost my darling, of 57 years. This song speaks to me!
I remember as a young teen, watching TNN and CMT and watching this video when it first came out. Another one of my favs.
I've been divorced for 5 yrs. I've found guys that wanna only sleep with me with no real commitment, and I've set my standards higher than that. Thought I finally found a good guy - but he is too wrapped up in his work. Don't get me wrong, a good job is important, but I've never had money and it doesn't mean a thing when his heart isn't in the relationship.
I love these old songs of Reba's they mean so much !!!! They make u feel ,they hit home. Not like the songs u hear now on the radio. I love ya Reba u made women's country music and u took to all our hearts ..n that's exactly where music needs to go when you hear it
My heart goes out to you. Yes, there is an empty place in your heart that can never be filled; but I believe she would want you to be happy and have your needs met with someone who really cares about you, if that one comes along. You can keep memories of the past, but at the same time; move forward and let your heart heal. God Bless.
Oh WOW!!!! This song brings me back to when i was a kid.. My Mom, Grandmother, would listen to Reba when i was growing up in the 80's. This is one of Reba's songs that came out in the 80's. I love this song. It really does bring back alot of memories when time was so much simple. I didn't have a care in the world back then but worrying about doing my homework or studying to pass a test. Lol.. Oh well, we all gotta grow up eventually.. Peace and prosperity to all of you out there...
Woody Woodward --- This song is more than sad, it's tragic! To love someone from the bottom of your heart, and yet uncertain as to how far you want to go! Uncertainty killed what could have been a triumph! This happened to me -- I didn't want a one night stand -- I wanted the "real thing" forever! But neither of us had the courage to commit, so that ugly word "through" won out in in the end! The result? We both are now alone and wish we could go back and do what we should have done then!! But it's too late!!
