Rory walks on a higher plain than all his contemporaries, he had feel, soul & never sold out. Vai, Satriani may have taken guitar to incredible technical levels but give me Rory every time especially when you consider he was playing with this virtuosity before they were even born. It's nice that slash & May cite him as a big influence

It is one of his best ever, and certainly the best of the last phase- which started with Photo Finish and Top Priority. He had moved away from pure balls out white blues rock and into the beauty and grace and melancholy of this. It’s lovely. And 40 years old. How scary is that!
