I love the contrast in this song, how dark and menacing it is in the beginning and how happy and heroic it is at the end.

Why does Alex not get the respect he deserves? To me, he's underrated. When Rush is mentioned, people always think of Geddy or Neil first... It seems like Alex is left out. He deserves just as much accolades as his band members receive.

How do people think this and "The Fountain of Lamneth" are inferior to other Rush epics? "Caress of Steel" - the most underrated album of all time.

This album is amazing, there's nothing quite like it. Geddy's voice cuts through the like knife. The artwork has always been my favourite of any of Rush's albums too.

Can't believe Geddy thinks this is one of heir worst albums. Not that they have any bad albums imo, but it they did, this would definitely not be one of them!

The third movement (8:36 and onward) is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. Alex's solo at the end is just gorgeous beyond comparison.

I remember when i was 14 years, finding this cassette in a junk yard car radio looking for a dashboard for my rebuild sport boat. I remembered that this is not Shanana! whom i always was listening to for some unknown reason. I've discovered Rush for the first time and it have been a part of my life ever since. Rest in peace Neil!!
