Sigur Ros - Masters of the never-ending crescendo.
Every now and then I come back to this song thinking "It can't be as beautiful as I remember it. I was just making a big deal out of it at the time." Then afterward I reprimand myself bitterly for being so wrong.
I've listened to Zeppelin, The Who, The Beatles, Nirvana--I never conceded that drums could be beautiful before I heard this song. I can't say how much it all means to me really. Thank you, Jonsi and the guys.
