Sadly now departed, but no doubt is rocking somewhere. remember the Attic Club, Sitting bullshitting at the Surf Club after a good surf, nights at the Durrant House with the surf club choir, with John being John on the piano, so many good times.
This is really awesome. Great heavy late 60s/early 70s heavy progressive psych. His albums are very hard to track down. I hope to get this when I go to England in September.
Met him in Zurich in the 90's and was jammin' with him together on stage. We sang this great Graham Bond track together. Was so wonderful...I miss him and play his old records again and again. R.i.P. Jolhn.
Met with John Morgan at his house in Appledore Devon in the l970's. Had a little music jam with him. Great musician and a nice man. Many many years later he phoned me from France to ask me if his drummer Mick Walker could use one of my drum kits (as they were playing a venue in Devon), said that was fine, not long after, John passed on. Great talent and top musician. From Christian session drummer Keith Jones. If you go to Google You Tube Keith Jones drum solo Devon you can see me perform at Wolden studios Devon in the l980's.
