OBVIOUSLY EVERYBODY KNOWS SWV'S VOCALS WAS OFF THE CHAIN FOR THAT TIME.. BUT WE HAVE TO GIVE PROPERS TO THEIR PRODUCTION TEAMS ON THEIR FIRST TWO ALBUMS. WHO EVER PRODUCED AND ARRANGED THESE ALBUMS WERE ON POINT. I DON'T CARE WHAT NOBODY SAYS, DESTINY CHILD OR TLC MIGHT HAVE SOLD MORE ALBUMS BUT JUST OFF RAW TALENT SWV... WAS THE BADDEST TRIO OR THE BEST OF THE FEMALE R AND B GROUPS.THEY ALL COULD SING.
***DAM,...THEM NASTY 90'S. This song still go!!
As dope as this track is, what's make it even crazier that it wasn't released as a single. This whole album should've been released as singles considering this album was the equivalent of a Greatest Hits album for most artist. Every track on this joint was dope, in actualality the singles that were released especially "All About U" probably in most people's opinion the weakest tracks on the album. Anyway I digress, this is such a dope record, Coco kills it as usual, Le and Taj do their thing on the background vocals and Brian Morgan does his thing on the production tip. Only problem I had with this record(and I'm nitpicking here) was why my man Brian Alexander Morgan had to come bless us with his vocals for just the last 10 seconds of the record. Guess he was thinking he gave us too much on "Your Always On My Mind," and wanted just the sistas with voices to shine on this record.
I really hope SWV works with Brian Morgan again. Lelee tried to get the girls to work with him on their new album but Coko has a little beef with Brian. I hope they can work it out & make some great music again!
