This is Tarja's masterpiece, to someone not familiarized with her music I would certainly introduce them to her with this piece, it defines Tarja's solo career, it has drama, classical elements, heavy theatrical lyrics, powerful vocals and heaviness with finesse, a perfect combo of guitar and drums. Better only if one has the chance to witness the live version where she uses her deep dark chest timbre that just adds to the overall drama and fits like a glove. And Van Canto should collaborate with her a ton of times more because damn... Welcome to the Anteroom of Death is fucking epic!
