They just refused to be marketed the way bands were. And a lot of their songs on this album were considered too long for radio play and they didn't wanna edit them down. The public's loss was our gain though. I got to see some badass shows of theirs in fairly small rooms through the 90's. best shows I ever saw.

this album is unstopable, i play it for my friends, who have never heard it. and they love it, I play it for my kids ,they love it. It never stops making fans.. AMORICA has meant alot to me throughout my life. So cool to be able to turn other people on to this masterpiece from the black crowes 20 years later
