My showchoir Bedazzled sang this as an accapella for our show. The theme was Coraline and when all of us (girls) sang it in our quiet yet insisting voices it became hauntingly beautiful. The girl playing the other mother really honed in on the "tell me, I'm your real mom and not her" vibes for this song and it was great

The way that they interpreted this song is incredible. The original is so much more upbeat and positive and they turned it into a slow, somber, haunting song and I'm absolutely enthralled with the way that they were able to do that so seamlessly.
