I feel nostalgic listening to this music, as to go down as one of my childhood favorite.

Wow! I love this song ever since the first time I listened to it as a little girl in the 80's..just can't get it off my mind. Brings back memories.... So touching a song! Still listening in 2020

R.I.P. PHIL. In 1959 the Everly's introduced me as a 7 year old boy into the world of populair music with this song. Grateful? You bet your life!!

Growing up in Africa as a very young man, I first heard this song playing on a neighbour's radio (we did not have electricity and a lot more in our 'house' then). It was a dull grey mid morning and the song did not help my mood but the feeling it gave me; I will never forget. That neighbour is long gone and so is my father. I always sing this song in my head and I always remember that sombre morning and also those days. Great song. My all time! I could go on and on.

The Everly's were close to my age when they started, wow--where has this time flew to? Great old song here.

I listend to this song when I was a little girl/teenager in the 1960. And when-ever I listen to this am filled with emotions of tears so much i Love the everly brothers

their vocals  were so good and harmony so perfect, that in this song they just use a guitar and a coke bottle and screw driver to keep a beat, with very little backup sounds this was a beautiful blending of voice.

Love this song so much. It gives me a lot of morale to be patient in the face of adversities.

Still listening to them in October 2019.

Love this...my favorite part is at 2:16...   the harmony on "Mary" is gorgeous!

The Everly Brothers were my all time favorites.  No better duo in rock and roll history.

As a little boy listening to this song on my radio, I was touched by how sad these ladies sound in the song. So you can imagine my shock at finding out they are actually men singing. Wow. Superb voices!

The fifties was definitely the best time for pop music. It's been downhill all the way since this song was on the "hit parade". I'm so sad to hear of Phil's death.

my mum died in 2013 because of liver cancer that was discovered way too late. It seemed that i never had time to say goodbye...and though i know shes in a better place ...whenever i remember my childhood...this was one of my mums favorite songs..and listening to it really warms my heart

Everly music never got out of style...I really love oldies!! More enjoyable than todays'....
