This was one of the Tommy Hunt leads. Many of their songs featured Nate Nelson on lead alone or at times with Terry Johnson doing a two part harmony with Nate - but always remember they all were able to sing lead including Paul Wilson. They really were great.

At 14 years old 1959 I made it my hobby to find every song the Flamingos recorded. I thought they were great and today love them even more.

The Flamingos have never recorded a bad song, no matter who is on lead vocals.

My dad taught us to appreciate the standards and I always love the flamingo's version of this song it is simply beautiful thank you for the mangoes

Extraordinary  harmony!!!These cats could blow.Incredible sound and arrangements.I use to catch them at the Paramount in N.Y.C.The love songs turned everyone into romantics.They would perform in ice blue tuxedos and looked like a million .Thanks for the upload!

Can anyone name a song or a group today that can sing this beautifully? The Flamingos-part of musical history and a time gone by.

I'm 73 years old, and have been listening to music all my life....The Flamingos are definitely in my Top 5 groups for harmony, ballads, and sophistication. No question there music is timeless.

My opinion their best recording. All voice little instruments.
