There have been some great Dublin bands over the years: Thin Lizzy, The Radiators, Virgin Prunes, The Blades, The Atrix, Boomtown Rats, to name a few. The Frames are definitely one of the best, and probably the very best when it comes to delivering a live performance.

I agree, however I prefer the verse, "I'm clearing up the wreckage lord, and its more than you've ever seen before." Over "I'm picking up the message lord, and I'm closer then I've ever been before."
I also believe glen finished the song with the band... but I'm not sure if that's true.
Anyways I agree, his street version is so much better, more passion, less production.
