This is their genuine sound, you can actually tell really easy. However, i do agree that bands are sounding same and all that good stuff you said. That being said, you cant actually accuse any of them, though you may say that they are sell outs or something, you need to understand that the music industry i changing all the time and if you wanna keep up you gotta change a bit, its not that simple everybody thinks. Its understandable to be disappointed but you gotta understand them
you are bad fan if you don´t know that the offspring played this type of songs long before some Rise Against have appeared. offspring has its own characteristic and unmistakable sound, despite of that there is always someone saying they have been influenced by other bands. why this discussion does not run under songs of the other bands .. that doesn´t make any sense to me ..
This is obviously about the bad economy and that if we dont get a new president, bad things will happen soon. The singer said "Our sales might be down 90%, and that's no exaggeration."
This song ended up being my favorite on the album because it had all the elements I was hoping for out of this one rolled into one song. It showed some of their maturity they've developed over the years in writing songs, their diversity in not just going with one sound for each song, using actual movements throughout the song, and of course hard-hitting in your face guitar and lyrics that you can feel meant something when Dex wrote them. This song is just pure face-punching win.
I liked the Days Go By album (except OC Guns) Offspring has been my favorite band for 20 years! I’ve seen them live 5 times. Can’t wait for their new record, it will be out later this year.
