Terrific group with fabulous lead voice in Jimmy Beaumont whose soulful vibrato and falsetto were among the best of the best. And yes, I also like the 5 Satins' version better although live acappella renditions from both groups - if that's possibly doable? - would narrow down the 'whose version is the better one'?!! At any rate, The Skyliners have always been a class act.

This is a good version. Flip side of Pennies From Heaven which is another old classic song. Came out in 1960 about the same time as what I think was the better version by the Five Satins with Bill Baker. Five Satins very Doo Wop and the Skyliners was real pop. Both are terrific though depending on what style of music you like.
