Then she left with him, she said she d always be my girl
Now i m so lonely, that was when she really, not to long ago
not too long ago
now she don t love me anymore
Then she left with him, now i ve got tears in my eyes, at the picture show
she said her love would never die
that i can talk to
broken and blue
now i m so lonely
Now she don t love me anymore, she said she d always be my girl
she said she d always be my girl
Like the stormy sea, now i m so lonely
now i m so lonely
Left my heart to cry, now she don t love me anymore
She had me thinkin, at the picture show
then she left with him
Like the stormy sea, she used to hold me close, she said she d always be my girl
broken and blue
Then she left with him, then she left with him Too, now she don t love me anymore
she said she d always be my girl
Cause he took her away from me not too long ago, how happy we would be and then he came along
How happy we would be and then he came along, because i don t have no one
She said her love would never die, not too long ago, she said she d always be my girl
that was when she really
I actually have an aircheck from 93-KHJ, Los Angeles where this was a current hit. Great hit and brings back memories of the birth of Boss Radio (KHJ, KYNO, KFRC).
My favorite band when I was a teenager! I am from Arkansas they were from Springhill Louisiana. I dated a boy at one time that had family in Springhill. I had the 8 track for years and my husband had never heard them until we met me but real like them, almost 20 years ago my husband took me to see them again in Hope Arkansas. They still sounded great and my husband bought me a CD and a T-shirt. (All These Things) was my very favorite and (Toys are made for Children) I also liked (Run And Hide) (Every Now And Then) ( How Lucky,Can One Man Be) (You Ain't Tuff)( I'll Do Anything) and(Fool No. 1). We put the CD on our computer and then on my phone. My Husband passed Away in September but I love having all my favorite music on my phone that he put on for me.
I drove from New York to L.A. about 20 years ago. KOMA started coming in around eastern OK somewhere, but I was able to listen to it all the way to Barstow, CA. Best oldies station I ever heard.
