The attitude and boasting Too Short shows here is what is to become years later in mainstream rap. Everyone else around this time sounds like Grand Master Flash. Too Short is definitely a pioneer.

At the start when it says the word fresh and it sounds high-pitched. I remember hearing that on Schoolly D's song called 'Put Your Fila's On'. Did Schoolly D sample that or did Too Short sample that? :)
