A lot you youngsters have no idea how weird those days were. Everything was wild. You could buy a 3 bed house in London for just £100 000 or just squat in one. We thought Tony Blair was great and the ecstasy was pure. How I miss those days. Now people have their faces fixated on their phones wondering why they can't "connect" with others when the truth is they are surrounded by like minded people.
This was my dad’s favourite song ever, always on in the car, on the radio, computer everywhere. It’s been a year and a half now since he passed and since listening to this song, but I’m so proud that he wanted this song to see him off, love you dad.
Looking back , it’s a miracle I survived, rip my mates who didn’t make it , jimmy Stanley , Jason Gilmore, Dave Wilson , Jason mullet , Jason elverson , Paul Stanley , hold tight brothers I know one day we will meet again ,
Instantly transported to spring of 1997, walking back to Hampstead with my mate Dan, sharing the headphones of my Discman, sunlight filtering through the leaves. Seems like an eternity ago.
