Thanks for sharing ... been looking for this clip for years .... first listened to it when I was still in elementary school ...great vocal, great musical arrangement.... Missing the final 10 seconds or so.... what happened?

An obsessive-compulsant's dream. Done by a group who loves to live in our head. I find this song popping up in my head at least once a year....just beautiful.

I got to see Vanilla Fudge at at small theater in Lincolnshire, IL, 2012. They played the whole first album note for note, Shotgun, Break Song and You Can't Do That. At the end Mark stein was coming from the can to sign autographs. I asked him if he recored this tune in one take. He looked at me and in a very soft voice, said little bits and drabs. 

This is the first time ive ever heard this and i just gotta say its gotta be one of the most powerfull songs ive ever heard! On my personal TOP 20 songs of all time now baby!!

This is a great song to get stoned to as I did a long time ago. Great vocals and drums and cymbals and organ and bass and guitar the whole song is great!!
