TODAY is the day that Chicago got justice. Van Dyke, the officer who fired teen shots into Laquan Macdonald, just got convicted on second degree murder. Most definitely deserves more, but this is a day in history.

Notice he ain't promote or show killing cops not one time in the video. He instead showed him disarming cops and getting them to lower their weapons, stopping the violence. Big ups.

To me the most eye opening part was when he put the officer's gun down and the rest of the officers stood down. That basically meant that we're not here to hurt you. That's what the officer's aren't getting. We, us blacks, automatically seem like we are violent. No doubt there are some ignorant blacks but there is an amazing crowd of blacks who will do no harm.

Imagine how insane you would have to be to shoot an unarmed boy 16 times. 16. Disgustingly destructive and impulsive. This man's wife believes he is innocent.

So Why does this song only have 300k views? Instead of 300 million?

I feel like no one saw the non violent efforts he took every time he encountered the police. When they beat him with the batons, he snatched one but did not hit back. When he was tazed, he simply walked away. When he was shot, all he did was approach the officer and PEACEFULLY bring his gun down. He didn't shoot back, he didn't snatch it and exact revenge. The symbolism is in the video. It's basically a plea. "Please stop killing us". It's not radical or hateful, its a cry for justice and peace. The song lyrics are describing the frustration of the community and how constant failure of accountability is making everyone distrustful. However, Vic didn't once resort to violence.

It's 2019 and this song isn't well promoted... This song is powerful.

The All Lives Matter movement would be similar to a man named Dave going to dinner with a group of his friends. They all sit down at the table, order their food, and it comes to the table. Dave realizes that his food never came, so he calls the waiter over and tells him that Dave's Food Matters. All the other people at the table get mad at him, saying that he shouldn't only think about himself and clearly all of their food matters etc. Then the rest of the table continues to eat their food doing nothing about the fact that Dave has no food to begin with.
