Joe Floyd and I were big fans of the movie Zardoz which was the inspiration for this song. The chord progression is a rock interpretation of Beethoven's 7th Symphony. The keyboard riff I played with a tubular bells feel was inspired by the Exorcist movie.

Yep,..DEADLY album!! Thanks for posting,duder!....Always sent shivers down my spine at the end of this one,..where he kicks it up a notch...cold,COLD...FIIIIIRRREE!! This band was totally underrated when this came out...I was lucky enough to find this on CD here in Calgary at a "farmers market" bargain bin for $3.00!!

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I have in my head - and every once in a while, it starts playing and I am transported back to 1985-86 when I was 16 and still full of life and hope. This song is epic and deserves recognition. God I love it. I would love to personally thank the members of Warrior for creating an album that was so good that it went WAY over the heads of the critics. CLASSIC METAL NEVER DIES.

i remember hearing this on a late night radio show called metal shop. I actually had this album on cassette at one point . I am sure if they had a darker album cover" with a demon" it would have turned out well. Metal was about imagery as well as music.
