I'm starting to like this one better (with a little updating to a 50's beat). His syncopation makes this version. Repeating of phrases is different, & I like the feel. Be working on it.
Perfect example of fluctuations in tempo and groove that made these artists so magically expressive. A modern day producer would just call this primitive and not being able to keep time. But what do they know? We're so infatuated with playing super tight to the point of sounding robotic. P.S. awesome singer and guitar player.
