I had this on some compilation that I had on CD in the mid-90s together with some Jimmy Smith, some soul-jazz like that, and some more cheesy stuff. 'I like London when it rains ...' Anyone know what that compilation was? It was released around 93-95 probably. I had a flat over a chemists where my deal was that I got two rooms but they were on different floors. The upstairs one was on the corner of the building and had a view of a church in one direction, down a street of old houses with people walking up and down in the other. That one I slept in. Then downstairs was a small room with a small window looking out on a blank wall. That one I just had my stereo, records, cds, tapes in. I remember listnening to this compilation a lot and also things like Lionrock and the Sabres of Paradise. It was a funny time.

And the most amazing thing is that it was recorded in 1964...!
